Yikes!! Okay, so life stuff these last few weeks totally took priority over everything including eating right. First we had vacation, then it was the last week of summer vacation (and this Mom totally waited until the last minute to get school supplies, uniforms…you name it). AND I celebrated my birthday :0) coconut cake and all! So, let me just sum up where I am now as I begin Week 19!

Week 18:

Starting Weight: 119.4

Lost Gained: .2 lbs

Ending Weight: 118.7

Total Weight Lost: 13.6 pounds

Okay, so not a total failure. In 3 weeks, I only gained .2… I can live with that. BUT I am going to get totally refocused this week. I’m going to lose what I gained and then some!! See you next week!

Week 16, well…almost! I’m know I’m a couple days early this week with my weigh-in, but next week we are going to be out and about enjoying some time off. I’ll actually be taking the whole week off from the Nutrisystem plan since we won’t be home very much, and I I won’t have access to my meals. So I’m flying solo! Anyway, on to the great news…I lost almost another whole pound  this week. YIPPEE!

Week 16:

Starting Weight: 119.4

Lost: .9 lbs

Ending Weight: 118.5

Total Weight Lost: 13.8 pounds

9.5 to go! This week my go-to meal…Lasagne! Gotta love lasagne! This is one I ordered quite a few of this month and it is delicious!

Week 15!! YIPPEE!!!!! I lost another 1.1 pounds this week despite my laziness the rain. (Yep that’s right, I am going to blame the lack of exercise again this week to the constant daily rain showers that just will not go away.)  But here’s what is so awesome about the Nutrisystem plan…I still lost 1.1 pounds. Eat the foods. Lose the weight. I’ve learned it’s really that simple. Hubby and I are not giving up on our C25K journey, though, because exercise is still very important in our effort to “get healthy”. It’s very rewarding every time we complete a workout, and I know my body will thank me.

Week 15:

Starting Weight: 120.5

Lost: 1.1 lbs

Ending Weight: 119.4

Total Weight Lost: 12.9 pounds

That leaves me with 10.4 pounds to meet my goal. Wow! Have I really come this far?  Never, have I stuck through a weight loss plan for so long, but never have I had such great results. And when was the last time I weighed this much little…I can’t even remember.

Foods. This week for dinner I was once again stuck on the hamburger patties, but I did mix it up some with lasagne. Gotta love lasagne! Lunch has been a variety really, but one of my favorites lately has been the tortilla soup. YUM!

Week 14!! Rain Rain Go Away!!  While I did really well this week, hubby and I have not been able to get in our C25K workout. Afternoon showers have really put a damper on our exercise routine.  Nevertheless, I lost weight this week!! Whoo Hoo!!

Week 14:

Starting Weight: 121.4

Lost: .9 lbs

Ending Weight: 120.5

Total Weight Lost: 11.8 pounds

I’m super excited about my total weight loss thus far!! I also can not believe how loose most of my clothes are these days. I think it’s time for a shopping trip…lol!

What meal have I enjoyed most in the last week? The hamburger patty! I ordered a bunch for this month, and goes great with a fresh tomato! YUM!

Okay well Week 13 did not go as I had planned.  I gained this week which is a bummer, but I’m not going to get all down on myself because well….life happens right? There will be ups and downs, and within the 13 weeks of being on the Nutrisystem plan, this is only the 2nd time I’ve had to record a gain. While I could give you a million excuses on why I gained, the main reason I am not getting upset over it is because last week I lost 2 pounds. That is the most I had lost in one week since my first week, and even though that was exciting, I realize that losing that much weight that fast is not necessarily a true loss. SO, I’m going to post this and move on and not look back…lol!

Week 13:

Starting Weight: 119.9

Lost Gained: 1.5 lbs

Ending Weight: 121.4

Total Weight Lost: 10.9 pounds

Because of a couple days of not feeling well, hubby and I didn’t exercise as planned either, so we are trying this week to get back on schedule. Tomorrow’s the 4th of July, so although I plan to eat my Nutrisystem breakfast, I will be eating a BBQ lunch with my family. I’m going to keep it light though and with the heat outside, that probably won’t be very difficult.

On another note, I found a frozen meal that I am totally in love with!! This one was DELICIOUS!!!

Week 12…Oh Yeah!!  So how much did I lose this week?

I Lost (Drum Roll Please)……… 2 lbs!!!

Week 12:

Starting Weight: 121.9

Lost: 2 lbs

Ending Weight: 119.9

Total Weight Lost: 12.4 pounds

WOW!!! After 2 weeks of not loosing very much (.2 to be exact) I was really excited to have such a loss. I was totally focused this week on eating only my Nutrisystem meals, drinking my water, and of course hubby and I did start the C25K workout program. We’ve only completed 2 days so far,  but it feels great to be working out together.

This week I also downloaded the Nutrisystem app for my iPhone. It’s a really great tool to keep track of everything you are eating. It has all the Nutrisystem meals built right into the app, so you can add a meal at the click of button!

Week 11!! I thought week 10 was tough, well week 11 brought on some new challenges…Date Night at Outback…Birthday Party for 2 of my kids…which included peanut butter cake among other delicious treats. Then there was our Father’s Day outing. I really tried to play it smart, and I think that I ate much less than I use to, but none the less, I had lots this week that should NOT have been on my menu. (sigh)  Anyway, I guess it could have turned out worse than no loss…I could have gained.  So here’s where I stand at the end of week 11.

Week 11:

Starting Weight: 121.9

Lost: 0

Ending Weight: 121.9

Total Weight Lost: 10.4 pounds

I have 12.9 lbs left to get where I really want to be. I knew the first 1/2 would definitely be easier than the second, but I’ve slacked long enough, and I am back on track for Week 12. Not only have I started drinking my water, eating only the Nutrisystem meals and only adding on the suggested healthy add-ons, but hubby and I have decided to take on the C25K workout program. While I’ve worked out here and there, I have not been able to get myself on a set workout schedule. I think this workout program will be great for both of us, AND it’s something we can do together.

So what new foods have I discovered I enjoy? I’ve really been enjoying the Cheesy HomeStyle Mashed Potatoes, Mexican Style Tortilla Soup, and the Fettuccini Alfredo. I’ve also been adding a nice fresh cucumber to my lunches, since they are fresh out of my dad’s garden!  I also would like to mention, how not only is Nutrisystem helping me to achieve my weight loss goals, but I am learning so much about the portion sizes that I will need to eat once I’ve reached my goals.

Okay, week 10 was tough!  Where oh where has my will power gone?? This was the first busy week of summer. Bringing the kids to camps, and meeting hubby for lunch with the kids, and a weekend of outings. YIKES! I totally caved! So, I dreaded weigh in on Monday morning, but to my surprise I was down .2 pounds. I’ll take it!!

Week 10:

Starting Weight: 122.1

Lost: .2 pounds

Ending Weight: 121.9

Total Weight Lost: 10.4 pounds

It is time to totally refocus!! While I am thrilled with the results so far, I have to be focused and stay in the game to get to the finish line! I HAVE to start drinking the 64 oz of water each day, which I failed to do last week. And I am hoping for some better weather, so the kids and I can get outside and move this week. Rain, Rain, Go Away!

This week I really enjoyed the hamburger. We are picking lots of veggies right now from our garden and the fresh tomato was soooo delicious on the burger!!!

Week 9! {{HAPPY DANCE}} I hit my first 10 lb goal! I now have 13 pounds left to hit my official goal and boy does it feel good to have the first 10 pounds behind me!!!

Week 9:

Starting Weight: 122.8

Lost: .7 pounds

Ending Weight: 122.1

Total Weight Lost: 10.2 pounds

Last week I shared some of my favorite desserts. This week I want to share some of my favorite breakfast items. First I LOVE, LOVE the protein shakes. When I first began the diet I kind of had to laugh at the size of the breakfast items because well, I thought there was NO WAY that would hold me up until lunch…even with a power fuel snack in the morning. I thought I would just be too hungry which is a fail with so many other diets I’ve tried. Eat a little and then I would be so hungry for the next meal, I would end up overeating. When I first started the Nutrisystem diet, I couldn’t believe how much of a difference the protein shakes made. I started off eating a power fuel snack in the morning, but as time has passed I find myself not needing to eat anything until lunch time. So with the protein shake in the morning, I’ll enjoy some of these tasty breakfast items:

Blueberry or Double Chocolate Muffin

April Strudel Bar

April Strudel or Chocolate Chip Scone

Chocolate Frosted Donut

or I’ll enjoy one of the frozen breakfast items like:

Week 8!! I have been on the Nutrisystem program for 2 months now. I’ve lost a total of 9.5 pounds. WOW! I am feeling great! I am loving the program because not only am I losing weight, but I feel as though I am learning how to eat. I am learning valuable lessons that I can carry on even after I am finish the program. This will be very important in maintaining my weight once I’ve reached my goal…which I am getting closer to everyday, I might add.

Week 8:

Starting Weight: 123.7

Lost: .9 pounds

Ending Weight: 122.8

Total Weight Lost: 9.5 pounds

This week I’d like to share with you some of my favorite desserts! Well, really it’s been ALL of them…lol!! I love enjoying some guilt free chocolate which is important in keeping us ladies happy…am I right?  So let’s see there’s the chocolate cake, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate sandwich cookies (which I dipped in my coffee today instead of milk….YUMMMY!), the double chocolate almond cookies, fudge brownie. Then there’s the frozen yummies! Ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, chocolate creamy fudge bars and orange creme bars. Oh Yeah, I’m suffering through it…NOT!
