Starting Monday, April 2nd voting will begin in the BradsDeals Savings Tournament and I am in the competition!!!! I will be posting links once voting is live because YOU will be deciding the winners, and I just know you are going to vote for me….right??  Of course you will! For round 1 I had to find the best deals, but was only allowed to spend $25.  Well, they don’t call me Mommy’s Money Saving Madness for nothing…GAME ON!  Easter is next weekend, so I decided to see just how much stuff I could get for the kids to fill their Easter baskets since I try hard to not get them too much candy. So how did I do? Well…

I spent just $22 and saved a whopping $122!! That’s a savings of 85%!!

First off, the following deals were all found on BradsDeals.com. I had not used this site prior to this competition, but I love it! The site is constantly updated with the latest online deals along with coupon and promo codes.

When I began shopping Oriental Trading was having a one day only FREE shipping event with no minimum purchase. My girls love stickers, and I was able to get 400 stickers…that’s right 400 plus 24 birthday gift tags (not for their baskets, but a great deal I didn’t want to pass up) all for just $2.45 shipped! Regular price would have been $12.96 plus shipping.

Next, I took advantage of this Saveology deal. You can get a $15 iTunes Gift Card PLUS a 14 day free trial into their Elite Loyalty Program which includes $15 in Saveology dollars for only $5! Membership into the Elite Loyalty Program is auto renewing so you must cancel within the 14 days or you will be charged. This $15 iTunes gift card will be perfect for my oldest daughter’s basket.

I then used my $15 in Saveology dollars I had just received to purchase a $35 voucher to spend on HeroHuggers.com. I happen to really like HeroHuggers, so I was really excited about this deal. You can read my review of them here. The $35 voucher was only $15 and included FREE shipping. I purchased 2 belts, a flower patterned D-ring closure one for my youngest daughter’s basket, and a brown belt for my son who will be starting kindergarten next year. They are required to wear belts and HeroHuggers offers belts with velcro closure, which is perfect for a kindergartener. Best of all this cost me $0!!

Then, I saw that Zulily was having a huge bathing suit sale. I surfed on over and found my oldest daughter a 2 piece swimsuit regular $28 for only $10.99! What’s even better is I had credit in my Zulily account, so once again, I paid $0!

Finally, I decided to check out the deals at Kohl’s. BradDeals gave me a heads up on a Promo code that would take an additional 20% off my entire purchase even sale items. I was able to purchase 3 shirts one for each of my kids. The total before the sale and promo codes would have been $54.00. The total marked down was $18.87 and the 20% promo code brought down my final total to $15.10. Even with $5.95 shipping this was still an awesome deal.

So here’s how it all totals up:

$2.45 Oriental Trading (reg. $12.96)

$5 Saveology (iTunes) (reg. $15)

$0 HeroHuggers (reg. $35)

$0 Zulily (reg. $28)

$15.10 Kohl’s (reg. $54)

My daughter loves her new belt from HeroHuggers. I love that HeroHuggers are made by Moms in the USA! Not only that, but they are affordable. HeroHuggers are high quality belts available in tons of fun colors and patterns. You have the option for a velcro closure for your little ones or the D-ring closure for a more stylish look for the older kiddos. My daughter (age 9) chose the Caribbean Calypso Kids Belt with the D-ring closure. We got her the Large (size 9/10) and it fit perfectly.

They offer 3 size options:

Small – for waists 18″ – 22″ (up to size 3T)

Medium – for waists 22″ – 25″ (up to size 6T)

Large – for waists 25″ – 28″ (up to size 9/10)

Another reason you’ll love purchasing from HeroHuggers is their 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not happy for any reason, you can return the belt for a full refund. (Although, I’m sure you and your child will just love HeroHuggers.)

Right now, my readers can use the Promo Code: Society10 on the HeroHuggers website to get a 10% discount (even on sale prices)!
